Marcelo is a successful Hispanic business leader who is able to identify marketplace potential and effectively transform it into significant opportunity.

His signature ability to personally connect, challenge and build longstanding relationships with his clients and among his extensive network is a key differentiator.

In 2006, Marcelo founded Alianza Services LLC. Alianza is a full service office interiors dealership, an authorized Herman Miller dealer and a certified Minority Business Enterprise. Alianza's footprint covers the entire New York tri-state region directly, and has national capabilities through a network of associated dealers.

Alianza's mission is to partner with the community to create great spaces with a purpose. Our vision and distinction is to become the premiere MBE interior solutions provider by offering best in class products and services including project management, design, consulting and workplace strategy.

Under Marcelo's leadership, Alianza has quickly established a powerful reputation, impressive track record and significant client roster among Fortune 500 companies and government agencies including Nielsen, Citicorp, Merck & Co., Johnson and Johnson, New York State, MBIA, Swiss Re, Jet Blue, NBC Universal, Purchase College, Interactive Brokers, DASNY and SUNY.

Marcelo honed his general management skills and sales leadership with OCASA, a leader in the international logistics and transportation industry. His long and successful career with OCASA, spanned two decades, where he led countless projects and was responsible for driving exponential growth. Marcelo was U.S. Vice President and General Manager, and a member of the company’s Executive Committee. During his tenure with OCASA, Marcelo launched the firm's Bio-Pharmaceutical Division and several other portfolio enhancements, augmented its USA footprint and presence in Europe and grew the client base to include leading firms and companies such as, JP Morgan Chase, Merck & Co, Novartis, Citibank, Skadden Arps, Booz Allen & Hamilton and the government of Spain.

Marcelo leverages his deep logistics and transportation experience to provide unparalleled end to end solutions and customer service to his growing roster of Alianza clients.

Equally important and distinctive, is Marcelo's passion, involvement and commitment to the industry, supplier diversity and personal communities. He is currently on the board of LACREA, St. Ann’s Parish, Inspire Nyack Foundation and Rockland Country Club. Marcelo is also an active member of several additional organizations including: the National Hispanic Business Group, Helping Hands, the Westchester County Association, the Rockland Business Association, the Hudson Valley Chapter of IFMA (International Facilities Managers Association), CORENET (Corporate Real Estate Network), the New York New Jersey Minority Supplier Diversity Development Council, and the Greater New England Minority Supplier Diversity Development Council.

Marcelo graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business. He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and currently lives in Rockland County NY with his wife and three boys.

Vanessa joins Alianza as CMO and Principal following a successful 25 career in the consumer products sector. Vanessa is leveraging her deep functional marketing experience and general management business acumen to solidify Alianza's position in the market place and grow our brand awareness, footprint, market penetration and portfolio.

Prior to Alianza, Vanessa served as Group Vice President Global Marketing, General Manager and Corporate Officer for Avon Products. She managed billion dollar brands and portfolios, with a specialty in Asia Pacific and Latin America. Vanessa was responsible for business and category strategy, new product innovation, celebrity alliances, package design, advertising and consumer activation. During her tenure, the company grew market share globally, launched new brands and business units and increased profitability. Prior to Avon, she held senior level posts with L'Oreal USA, another iconic industry leader.

Vanessa is a passionate brand builder and new product innovator. She leverages consumer trends and insights to drive business growth and transformation. Vanessa is as agile and effective in large, complex environments as she is in smaller more entrepreneurial business settings. Her collaborative nature, creative, big picture thinking and robust process orientation make her a highly effective strategic business partner. She is an inspirational leader, compelling communicator and talent nurturer.

Vanessa graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a BS in Finance and International Business and her MBA in Marketing and International Business. She lives in Upper Nyack, NY with her husband Marcelo and their three sons.

Karolina is a credentialed expert with 15+ years experience and leadership in the Commercial Furniture Industry.

Her impressive career spans the tri-state area where she has fostered long standing customer relationships across sectors, organizations and channels. Karolina brings a unique, uber qualified and objective perspective having worked in both a dealer and manufacturer capacity.

Karolina has harnessed her passion for training and education and partnered with the local and nationally recognized Workplace Research Strategists. Together they have worked to initiated ongoing industry related educational programs with the common objective of bringing the study of "Workplace Research and Trends" to a cross section of constituents including the end user, A&D and real estate professional.

At Alianza, Karolina is responsible for managing the sales team, new client development and successful project execution. Equally important, Karolina is the Alianza and industry ambassador among our community of business partners and network affiliates.

Vice President of Sales

Dawn's impressive career in the office interior industry spans two decades, an extensive client roster and countless project success stories.

Prior to joining Alianza, Dawn worked with Knoll in several different and growing capacities that afforded her insights from an end user, design and dealer perspective.

She managed a $20MM + book of business and managed a broad portfolio of accounts that varied in size, scope and complexity - from small and emerging to large and high volume.

The diversity of her experience, combined with her vast product knowledge and sales leadership, positions Dawn as fluent and agile to quickly assess and understand her client's needs and requirements.

With her collaborative approach, Dawn triangulates a strategic alliance across the customer, design team and manufacturer to deliver the optimal customized solution.

Dawn is quickly fortifying an already extensive corporate client roster with new opportunities in the education and government sectors.

With nearly 30 years experience, Joe is most certainly a seasoned and highly respected name in the office interior industry.

Joe has spent the majority of his career on the dealer side in the New York City territory working with several notable organizations including Steelecase, Allsteel and Behrle Associates.

He has assembled an impressive and diverse CV of projects that range in size, scope and complexity.

With a specialty in large corporate clients, Joe has honed his skill set to effectively and successfully manage moves, relocations and large business centers.

As, Vice President Account Management, Joe thrives on being the epicenter of a project and provides the highest quality end to end account management for his clients.

From initial planning to final installation, Joe is committed to delivering an unparalleled customer experience . His particular emphasis and diligence on schedules, budgets and cost is greatly appreciated by clients and team members alike.

As a founding member of the Alianza team, Karen is knowledgeable and versatile. With her broad perspective of the industry and MBE community, Karen executes flawlessly and provides innovative, customized solutions to our growing clientele.

Prior to joining Alianza, Karen held executive administrator roles with one of the nation's largest auto insurance companies and Union 52 Motion Picture Studios.

Senior Designer | Project Manager

Olga is a seasoned commercial furniture professional with more than 20 years of diverse experience across design, facilities and project management, and dealers.

Olga leverages her Bachelor degree in Architecture from the NY Institute of Technology as a key pillar to her success. She possesses a unique approach to creating harmonious work environments across a diverse range of sectors including corporate, healthcare, government agencies and education, with an emphasis and proven track record in relocations. Her impeccable design aesthetic and attention to detail is captured in each project to create a signature end result that fulfills the client’s requirements. Olga's versatility enables her to effectively manage a project from inception to completion, on time and on budget.

Prior to Alianza, Olga worked with various Steelcase and Haworth dealerships across the tri-state area, the prestigious A&D firms of David Hunter Architects and AHSC, as well as the facilities departments at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Morgan Stanley

Senior Designer

Nikki is a NCIDQ certified designer. She joins Alianza after a successful 10 year career with Herman Miller.

She possesses a unique agility to effectively and aesthetically create a broad spectrum of spaces - from corporate executive offices, to classrooms and open collaborative areas. Nikki's projects span Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, CUNY locations and City Museum of New York just to name a few.

Nikki approaches every project as a creative opportunity. She integrates the most current industry trends, deep product knowledge, and manufacturer experience into her design thinking and process to create spaces that fulfill the end users' requirements.

She is an engaged and reliable partner throughout the entire design process. Nikki's fresh perspective, keen attention to detail and signature positivity resonate with her clients.

JESSICA BOGGS  
JESSICA BOGGS
Junior Designer | Project Coordinator


Jessica is a recent graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in Interior Design. Jessica complimented her studies by becoming active in several design and community organizations where she practically applied her formal training and knowledge. She was the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Student Chapter secretary and a frequent volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, where she gained insight to the interworking of the design and construction business.

Jessica had a successful, fast start with several architecture and design firms in Columbus, Ohio: R.P. Architects & Associates, Inc. and The Glavan Group. She quickly worked on a wide range of projects including local fire stations, municipal facilities, personal residences, and hospitality projects for Hilton and IHG. Jessica was a versatile and integral team member in each of her projects with involvement across sales, design, and execution.

Jessica’s design background brings a fresh perspective that enables her to provide her clients with design solutions that are relevant, creative, and integrated.
